Job summary

Dave & Buster’s Inc. in Modesto, California, is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve food and drinks with exceptional guest service. You know the menu, recommend items, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.

The role requires at least 6 months of bartending experience, 21+ with Alcohol Certification, and the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, contribute to a fun culture, and help guests have a great time.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with all guests. Be our ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!)
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
• Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN!
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe bar, while completing the necessary side work
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Bartender, you have a knack for creating a welcoming environment and are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great food and beverage suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Must act with a swift sense of urgency
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
