Job Overview

University Club at Milwaukee is seeking a part-time Bartender. The ideal candidate will excel in a hospitality environment and prioritize providing exceptional service to members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Stock and serve alcoholic beverages, assist with cost control, inventory management, and record keeping.
2. Manage inventory through careful monitoring and communicate supply needs to management.
3. Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and company procedures.
4. Address guest requests and concerns with the Department Manager.
5. Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash handling, cleaning, and restocking.
6. Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale system.
7. Review banquet schedules, events, and serve at catered functions.
8. Serve meals to guests on occasion.
9. Follow safe work practices.
10. Perform additional duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, with at least one year of bartending experience or training, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Completion of Alcohol Awareness Training.
