Qualifications

Position Overview

V&E Hospitality Group is looking for talented and passionate individuals to join our team as Bartenders. The Bartender is a key member of our service team responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation:Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty drinks, with precision and creativity.
• Guest Interaction:Greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and engage in friendly conversations. Provide recommendations and ensure guests have an enjoyable experience.
• Mixology:Create and innovate cocktails while following established recipes and maintaining consistency in presentation and taste.
• Bar Organization:Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the proper storage and labeling of all ingredients, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools.
• Inventory Management:Monitor and track inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage the rotation of perishable items to minimize waste.
• Cash Handling:Process guest payments accurately, handle cash responsibly, and provide change or receipts as required.
• Safety and Compliance:Adhere to all relevant alcohol laws and safety regulations, including checking identification to verify the legal drinking age and refusing service to intoxicated guests.
• Teamwork:Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and seamless service. Support colleagues during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and bar equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Knowledge of liquor laws and responsible alcohol service.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively.
• Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions.
