Grand Beach Hotel in Miami Beach, FL is seeking a Bartender to provide the highest quality luxury service, taking guest orders, pouring beverages, and processing payments in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires flexible hours, prior customer-facing experience, and knowledge of basic food service and POS systems. You will maintain bar cleanliness and adhere to safety and uniform standards, reporting to work in proper attire.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Serve food and alcoholic beverages to guests
• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items; take orders
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
• Utilize the POS system to accurately account for and process all orders
• Request identification from guests who appear under 30 years old
• Remove dirty glasses and dishes; lift/move bus tubs up to 25 lbs
• Keep tables and bar area clean at all times
• Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, beers and garnishes
• Comply with harassment policy and hotel standards
• Report to work in proper uniform and appearance standards
• Provide excellent guest relations
• Observe hotel phone etiquette for messages and calls
• Perform special projects and duties as assigned

BARTENDER

FOOD & BEV/ MANAGER Full Time Miami Beach, FL, US

Salary Range: $12.00 To $12.00 Hourly

The Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality of luxry service to guest in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner. The Bartender is also responsible for receiving and delivering guest orders and collecting payments. Responsible for the proper accounting and recording of all beverage sales while ensuring that the pouring measures are being followed according to standard operating procedure. Ensures that Bar Stations and storeroom are kept neat and organized.

DUTIES

• Serve food course and alcoholic beverages to guest
• Suggestively sell beverages and menu items; take orders
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Utlize the Point of Sales system to accurately acount for and process all orders
• Request identification from any guest who appears to be under 30 years of age
• Remove dirty glasses, dishes, including lifting/moving of bus tubs up to 25lbs.
• Keep tables clean at all times.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes at Grand Beach Hotel.
• Maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment/hostile work environment policy dictated in the Team Member handbook.
• Reports to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, in accordance with the company's personal appearance standards
• Applies excellent guest relations skills when interacting with guests
• Observes hotel telephone etiquette, message, and call handling procedures
• Special projects and duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays; Ability to work late hours
• Working Knowledge of basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, point of sales systems
• 4 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment
• Tolerance of all cultures
• Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent
• Ability to deal with intoxicated guests in a positive and safety minded manner
