Responsibilities

• Fulfill beverage orders throughout the clubhouse.
• Setup and breakdown of satellite bars for events.
• Perform bellhop duties and maintain high standards.
• Set up and breakdown satellite bars for private dinners and club events.
• Perform Bellhop duties: receive luggage and deliver to rooms or overnight house.
• Store luggage in the Valet Room in an organized manner.
• Park Members and guests' vehicles when necessary.
• Opening and closing duties per department standards.
• Daily side-work: polish glassware, wine buckets, and luggage carts.
• Daily and weekly cleaning tasks; restock bar areas with product and supplies.
• Maintain the Upper Terrace and fireplace; start fires and restock wood.
• Clean and sanitize Employee Break Room soda fountain and stock cups.
• Address Members and guests with proper honorifics (Mr./Mrs./Dr./Lord/Lady, etc.).
• Ensure Members are correctly charged for drinks.
• Respect club traditions and contribute to a quiet country English manor atmosphere.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and maintain reliable attendance.

Summary

The Bartender at Rolling Rock Club provides exceptional beverage service, ensuring an elevated experience for Members and guests during private events, a la carte dining, and throughout the property. Responsibilities include crafting cocktails, delivering wine service, managing satellite bar setups, and fulfilling beverage orders with precision and professionalism. Additional duties include performing bellhop services, maintaining key areas such as the Upper Terrace and fireplace, and upholding the Club's traditions and high standards. This role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining attention to detail.

Essential Functions

• Receive and fulfill beverage orders from Members and their guest throughout the clubhouse and surrounding properties.
• Follow club standards for beverage service including but not limited to cocktails, beer, wine and snacks.
• Proficient knowledge of A La Carte dining menus.
• Setup and breakdown satellite bars for private dinner and club events.
• Perform Bellhop duties: Receive Members and guests luggage and deliver to their overnight rooms in the Clubhouse or to an overnight house.
• Store Members and guests luggage in Valet Room in an organized manor.
• Park Members and guests vehicles when necessary.
• Follow department standards for opening and closing.
• Perform daily side-work such as: polishing glassware, wine buckets, and luggage carts.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Restock bar areas with appropriate product and supplies necessary.
• Upkeep of the Upper Terrace - cleaning tables, chairs, and keeping the terrace free of debris.
• Maintain the fireplace; including but not limited to starting a fire in fireplace, cleaning ashes located in the fireplace, and restocking the fireplace with wood.
• Clean and sanitize Employee Break Room soda fountain and stock cups.
• Address Members and guests in an appropriate manor including honorifics i.e., Mr./Mrs./Dr./Lord and Lady, Ambassador etc.
• Ensure that Members are correctly charged for their drinks.
• Respects the Club's customs and traditions and works to preserve Rolling Rock Club as a "quiet country English Manor".
• Perform other incidental and related duties as may be required and assigned. Or other related assignments as necessary.
• Maintains regular, consistent and reliable attendance.
