Job summary

Brigantine Restaurants is seeking a bartender to deliver hospitality and expert beverage service at the bar and dining areas. You will mix, garnish, and serve beverages while maintaining a clean, safe bar environment aligned with company standards.

The role requires knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine, plus the ability to engage guests, answer questions, and suggest menu options in a fast-paced setting. Flexible scheduling is offered to support guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year bartending experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer.
• Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills to monitor the bar area and service wells.
• Excellent communication and professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve beverages consistently adhering to all recipe standards.
• Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed guest service expectations.
• Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the menu, with the ability to answer questions and make suggestions.
• Take orders, serve bar patrons, and process payment.
• Keep designated service stations clean and organized.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory.
• Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems.
• Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return.

Description

The Bartender is primarily responsible for delivering hospitality and extraordinary service to bar guests and for mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages according to Company specifications for guests at the bar and in the restaurant. This position is also responsible for cleanliness and safety of the bar area.

Compensation & Benefits:

• $15.50 to $16.30 per hour plus tips

Duties & Responsibilities:

Requirements

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs.).
• Must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol.
• Food Handler Certification.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification.
