Job summary

Bastion Events seeks professional Event Bartenders to join our hospitality-driven team in Houston. You will deliver polished service at luxury private events, reading menus, and crafting specialty cocktails while maintaining a premier bar experience across venues including Soleil and Bar Moon.

Flexible scheduling is offered; must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Typical compensation is hourly with tips potential; minimum two shifts per month preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bartending experience.
• Experience in upscale venues preferred (luxury catering/restaurants/hotels).
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits.
• Ability to provide polished, professional service in a high-end event setting.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid TABC Certification (or ability to obtain prior to employment).
• Reliable transportation for events across the Greater Houston Area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with exceptional hospitality and guest service.
• Execute beverage menus, including specialty cocktails and wine selections.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area throughout events.
• Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown as needed.
• Provide attentive, personalized service while anticipating guest needs.
• Collaborate with event managers, servers, culinary teams, and fellow bartenders for a seamless experience.
• Represent Bastion Events with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Position Requirements

Scheduling & Availability

• Flexible scheduling based on your availability and event calendar.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability for a minimum oftwo shifts per monthis preferred.
• Event shifts may vary based on client needs and event schedules.
• Events are held throughout the Greater Houston Area, including Bastion venues such asSoleil and Bar Moon in the Galleria area, as well as off-site locations.
