Position Summary:

Servers at IAH George Bush Intercontinental Airport are responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction and executing the OTG steps of service to the highest standards.

Responsibilities :

Follow OTG steps of service, standard operating procedure s .

Greet guests pleasantly

Walk guests through the OTG ordering and payment system

Highlight menu, food and beverage options, make suggestions based on guest preferences and /or dietary restrictions/allergies

Follow the OTG cash handling and cash register policies

Maintain cleanliness within the restaurants dining and service stations

Communicate with Chefs and Managers to ensure food is delivered t o guests in a time ly manner

Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations

Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required

Assist team members as nee ded

Inform MOD on guest complaints/feedback /inquiries

Monitor and report intoxicated guests to MOD

Inform leadership team of low inventory and equipment issues

Perform additional tasks requested by the OTG leadership team

Q ualification s :

1-2 years of e xperience as a S erver

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment

Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including beer, wine and cocktail pairings

Must be at least 18 years of age

F luent + fully conversational in English

Must become TIPS certified within 90 days of employment

Able to lift , up to35 lbs. in weight

Must be able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch

Must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions--must be flexible

Hourly Rate of pay $2.13 + Tips
