JOB PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to create a unique and personal experience for our Buffalo Wild Wings Guests by effectively presenting food and beverage options in an informative, friendly, and enthusiastic manner.
JOB FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make personal connections with Guests to create loyalty through engaging conversations.
- Participate in Mystery Shop, GEM, and BARS programs. Follow Company Standard Operating Procedures for the BARS program, including "Must ID anyone who looks under 40 years of age" and check Guests' identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Read and organize tickets to serve Guests quickly and accurately and manage large crowds.
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to the standards and specifications in the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform service, cleanliness, and operational responsibilities such as bussing, resetting the bar, restocking caddies, cleaning menus, and managing menu placement.
- Stock the bar and refill ice bins as needed.
- Remove debris and spills from the floor in the assigned section.
- Replace kegs and restock bottle beer and alcohol when necessary.
- Monitor and manage bar inventory and control costs, including tracking waste per company drink specifications and SOPs.
- Monitor inventory levels of stemware, glassware, garnishes, etc., and prepare, wash, and sterilize items to replenish stock.
- Take food and beverage orders from Guests and prepare beverages for them and the server’s Guests.
- Process Guest payments accurately following the Company’s SOPs.
- Limit problems and liability related to excessive drinking by taking appropriate precautions.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary bar area, equipment, and blenders.
- Support opening and/or closing duties as per FOH Support Responsibilities Policy, including clocking in/out appropriately when performing these duties.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, with pay rate determined by the specific duty.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving intermittently during work hours. Notify your manager if a task exceeds your physical capabilities.
