Job summary

The Glen House Hotel in Gorham, NH is hiring a bartender to serve guests, mix drinks, and ensure a positive, efficient bar experience. You’ll verify age, recommend pairings, handle payments, and help maintain inventory and bar cleanliness.

Starting pay is $10 per hour plus tips. We offer benefits, PTO, holidays, and a commitment to employee well-being in a support-driven workplace.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent; TIPS certification preferred.

Bartenders work directly with customers by mixing and serving drink orders. Their responsibilities include verifying age requirements, knowing alcohol pairing and tastes, knowing how to make traditional and classy drinks, processing payments, managing inventory, and cleaning bar supplies.

Skills Required

• Provide high-level customer service, communicate effectively with guests and team members, follow instructions, ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure.

Experience / Education

• Previous bartending experience preferred; must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol, per state law; high school diploma and/or equivalent work experience; TIPS certified preferred; Allergy Awareness training helpful.
