Job summary

OHSO BREWERY AND DISTILLERY in Gilbert, AZ is seeking vibrant bartenders to deliver energetic, friendly service and create a memorable guest experience while maintaining bar organization and accuracy.

You will mix drinks, recommend specials, handle transactions, and stay informed about menu items. The role requires at least two years of bartending, knowledge of cocktails, and a Food Handler’s Card; dogs welcome on shift.

Qualifications

• Two years of bartending experience or more.
• Knowledge of cocktails, liquor, wine, craft beer, and spirits.
• Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol in Arizona.
• Personality with strong guest-service skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with an energetic, friendly, and positive attitude.
• Listen to guest preferences and make knowledgeable beverage recommendations.
• Take and prepare drink orders accurately and efficiently.
• Mix, garnish, and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
• Stay informed about featured beverages, specials, and new menu items.
• Check identification and follow all legal alcohol-service requirements.
• Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and respond appropriately.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately.
• Balance the cash register and complete required checkout procedures.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized bar throughout the shift.
• Wash and restock glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Remove trash, clean tables, and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Communicate clearly with servers, barbacks, kitchen employees, and managers.
• Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service procedures.
• Help create a lively, welcoming, and memorable experience for every guest.

Job description

We are looking for vibrant, outgoing Bartenders who know how to bring energy to the bar while delivering excellent service. Our bartenders are confident, knowledgeable, quick on their feet, and able to create a fun, welcoming experience while keeping the bar organized, accurate, and under control.

In this role, you’ll prepare drinks for bar and restaurant guests, make thoughtful recommendations, handle transactions, and stay aware of everything happening around you. You should have strong knowledge of cocktails, liquor, wine, craft beer, and spirits, along with the confidence to connect with guests and keep the bar moving during busy shifts.

• Current Food Handler’s Card
• Must be at least 19 years old to serve alcohol in Arizona

• Ability to think quickly and stay composed in a fast-paced environment
• Strong awareness of surroundings and attention to detail
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay

• $12.15 per hour plus pooled tips
• $15.15 per hour during training and required meetings
