Responsibilities
  1. Providing outstanding services to our guests
  2. Completing opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  3. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  4. Trained in the front of the restaurant
  5. Input orders into the cash register system and collect payment from the customer
  6. Take orders and record them in the MICROS system.
  7. Prepare food and coffee beverages
  8. Ensure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at the appropriate times
  9. Bus coffee cart areas and tables
  10. Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
  11. Obtain change required for the expected business level and count bank at the end of the shift
  12. Complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
  13. Will be trained on cooking, using exact recipes to make all foods listed on the menu.
  14. All other related tasks will be requested on a case-by-case basis.
Education

High school education/GED.

Experience

Previous experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Hours Required

Scheduled days and times vary based on hotel needs. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Skills And Abilities
  • Must be able to pass TIPS certification/alcohol awareness training and food handler training.
  • Knowledge or ability to operate a computer.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
