Job Overview

As a beverage enthusiast behind the bar, you create an energy that is both welcoming and exciting. You showcase your craft of creating cocktails as a bright mixologist, offering guests a seasonally inspired beverage menu, a warm conversation, and maybe a story or two. Your engaging personality will ensure guests look forward to relaxing with you after a long day.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with genuine care
• Deliver highly attentive service
• Engage in polite conversation as time allows
• Be fully informed of the beverage menu
• Prepare drinks for cocktail service, open and serve wine/champagne
• Prepare garnishes
• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies
• Set up and maintain cleanliness of bar area
• Process all payment methodsMaintain a clean safe environment
• Ensure bar and its equipment are clean and fully functional
• Occasionally diffuse difficult situations
• Comply with all liquor laws

Qualifications

• Professional demeanor, warm and welcoming personality, ability to engage easily and connect with others
• Genuine caring, compassionate, comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels
• Clear, professional language usage
• Previous bartending experience is a big plus
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Minimum Requirements

The role requires standing for long periods of time or entire shifts. Professional appearance and clean uniform. Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than 30 pounds without assistance.
