Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking bartenders for the Detroit Hockeytown Restaurant in Detroit, Michigan. This is a tipped position; the posted hourly pay excludes tips.

Responsibilities include taking drink orders, mixing drinks, handling payments, and maintaining bar stock. Applicants should have at least 2 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant, be 18 or older, and be comfortable with cash handling and a computerized POS system.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring full-time and part-time Bartenders to join our team at Detroit Hockeytown Restaurant in Detroit, Michigan. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly while providing an excellent guest experience.

Please note that this is a tipped position; the listed hourly minimum pay doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$6.50 – $6.50 / hour

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 2 years of front-of-house experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing
• Previous experience using a computerized point of sale system
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to lift stock to 35 pounds occasionally
• Exposure to moderate to high environmental noise levels during busy times
