Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes.
• Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
• Enter each order accurately into the POS system.
• Uphold the company's core values and ensure optimum guest experience.
• Accountable for maintaining quality, consistency, and sanitation standards as per company and state regulations.
• Practice an ownership mentality with emphasis on motivation and teamwork.
• Keep the bar area clean and tidy, including washing glasses and cleaning the bar top and surrounding areas.
• Restock supplies during slow operational hours, including alcohol, ice, fruit, beer kegs, and beer cooler.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, ensuring all orders are accounted for in the POS system.
• Work with the management team to achieve year-over-year growth, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
• Execute programs to lead to increased sales and profitability.
• Understand all menu items and effectively upsell to guests.
• Ensure safety by keeping areas free from hazards, addressing and correcting any practices that lower safety standards.
• Avoid over-serving alcohol and check the ID of every patron to prevent serving minors.
• Handle guest complaints and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Obtain TIPS Certification.

Job Summary

As a Bartender, you will play a vital role in supporting the Bar Manager in providing exceptional service to our guests. The Assistant Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, interacting with customers, taking orders, and ensuring the accuracy of transactions through the POS system. • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.

Additional Requirements

• Position requires consistent activity, such as walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
• Employment may require a background check.
