Job Overview

Responsible for setting up, mixing drinks, serving, and cleaning the bar area, ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction, and adherence to company standards and profit goals.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and serve drinks following established guidelines, procedures, and safety controls.
2. Maintain cordial, efficient, and professional guest interactions, focusing on satisfaction.
3. Ring guest checks, handle cash, and process credit and room charges per company policies.
4. Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
5. Know and comply with state liquor laws.
6. Perform all sidework duties as scheduled.

Qualifications

Education/Formal Training

Bartending training and certification, TIPS Certified.

Experience

Previous bartending experience preferred.

Knowledge/Skills

Must be 21 years or older to serve alcohol.

Physical Demands

Must lift trays, dish racks, and glass racks (20-40 lbs), push carts (50-100 lbs), and perform bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Ability to maneuver in narrow spaces, climb stairs, and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Good communication skills in English required. Must be organized, attentive to details, tactful, and able to handle stressful situations. Ability to accurately count cash and operate a cash register.
