Job summary

THE SMITH is seeking a bartender to welcome guests, craft beverages, and maintain a polished bar area. You will collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless guest experience and uphold safety standards.

We value hospitality passion, honesty, and communication. Prior barista experience is a plus, and a friendly, proactive attitude is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each guest at the bar and create an inviting environment
• Communicate with guests in a warm, professional manner, ensuring they feel valued and well cared for
• Work collaboratively with all Smith team members to support a seamless guest experience
• Prepare, mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for both bar and dining room guests, following standard recipes
• Maintain a strong understanding of responsible alcohol service and ensure compliance at all times
• Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, proactive service throughout their experience
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout service
• Uphold all food safety, handling, and sanitation standards to ensure the safety of guests and team members
