Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced bartender to thrive in a fast-paced bar environment. You will create and serve drinks, engage with bar guests, and ensure a memorable experience.

Requirements include 1–2 years of bartending, strong communication, and a flexible schedule to cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential for this role and our growth-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare, garnish, and serve drinks per standard recipes while tending bar patrons.
• Receive orders and serve food to guests at the bar.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner and assist with restocking bar inventory and side work.
• Stay educated on menu offerings and respond to questions about menus and dietary restrictions.
• Prepare and present final bill, process payment, and report gratuities to comply with IRS standards.

The Role

As a bartender, you love a fast‑paced environment and shaking up cocktails is your specialty. In your downtime, you enjoy connecting with your bar guests and making a lasting impression.

What we will ask of you

• Create, prepare, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks consistent with the Restaurant’s standard drink recipes while tending to bar patrons
• Receive orders and serve food to guests dining at the bar
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner and assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies in addition to required side work
• Always remain educated on our menu offerings and respond promptly to any requests or questions about our menus, dietary restrictions and other restaurant functions and services
• Prepare and present final bill, process payment, and report all gratuities received to comply with the IRS standards of reporting income

Requirements for Success

• Be 21 years of age or older with 1‑2 years of prior bartending experience
• Have a positive energy, be ready to assist fellow support staff and work as a team player
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and all guests
• A flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Constant standing/walking with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting
