Job summary

Castaway Burbank, operated by Specialty Restaurants Corporation, is seeking a skilled bartender for our high-volume bar program. You will craft cocktails, whiskey flights, and signature drinks with precision, while delivering a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits; passion for mixology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a diverse range of beverages with precision and flair.
• Engage guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a memorable experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of whiskey varieties, origins and pairings.

Pay:

$16.25 - $21 per hour plus tips

Requirements

• 2 or more years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume establishment
• Strong knowledge of whiskey and other spirits, with a passion for mixology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• TIPS or similar certification (can obtain upon hire)

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk and stand for hours at a time. Lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Balance and walk with heavy trays, dinnerware and drinks full time.
