Job description

Our busy restaurant is looking for a Bartender with a positive attitude who can provide excellent customer service for our patrons to have a great time at our bar. You will be responsible for taking customer orders, mixing a variety of traditional and creative cocktails, making beer and wine recommendations, and keeping the bar area clean and sanitary at all times. This position requires an energetic person with excellent organizational skills and a customer-first attitude. Compensation:

• $12.55/hr plus tips - match $24.50/hr if tips are not sufficient

Responsibilities:

• Maintain standards with cocktails, fruit, pours, cleanliness, stocking, batching, and organization of storage areas and fridges
• Assist in leading and inspiring service staff with beverage knowledge and develop aspiring team members for future bartending roles
• Implement proper training programs and ensure their execution for bartenders
• Uphold Avanti service standards and maintain composure as a good brand ambassador
• Assist management with guest questions, comments, and complaints as appropriate
• Maintain open and honest communication with management regarding staff, building maintenance, or service issues
• Provide feedback on staff levels to optimize service efficiency based on days, events, or weather
• Support potential bartender candidates during their stage
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
