Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Bartender for a full-time, on-site role at a Kimpton property in Atlanta, GA. You will prepare craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks while delivering warm, personalized service.

Responsibilities include taking orders, handling payments, keeping the bar clean, and collaborating with the F&B and culinary teams. Prior bartending experience and knowledge of safety standards are preferred.

Role Description The Bartender is a full-time, on-site role based at a Kimpton property in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, including craft cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, while following all recipes and responsible service standards. Day-to-day tasks include engaging guests with warm, personalized service, accurately taking and delivering orders, handling cash and electronic payments, and maintaining a clean, organized bar and service area. The Bartender will collaborate closely with the food & beverage and culinary teams, support opening and closing procedures, manage inventory and stock rotation, and adhere to safety, hygiene, and alcohol compliance regulations. This role also contributes to creating memorable guest experiences by offering recommendations, sharing product knowledge, and reflecting Kimpton’s culture of genuine hospitality.

Qualifications

• Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on creating welcoming, personalized guest experiences.
• Excellent Communication abilities, including clear verbal interaction with guests and teamwork with colleagues.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, including basic mixology, menu familiarity, and pairing recommendations.
• Proficient Cash Handling skills, including processing payments accurately and managing a cash drawer or POS system.
• Demonstrated Bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, or hotel environment, with familiarity in responsible alcohol service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced setting, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation standards in hospitality.
• Previous hotel or high-volume restaurant experience is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., alcohol service or food handler) are a plus.
