Job summary

Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach is seeking a bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests while delivering outstanding service and contributing to profitability. Follow recipes, maintain bar stock, and ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, mixing drinks, verifying IDs, processing payments with the POS, stocking the bar, and handling intoxicated guests professionally. Part-time position with tips.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender or in hospitality role.
• Knowledge of alcohol safety laws and ID verification procedures.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Description

The Kingston Resorts is a 145-acre oceanfront resort on the north-end of Myrtle Beach. Less than 2 miles from Tanger Outlets and a short 20-minute trip to Broadway at the Beach. This resort is home to the Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation Condos, and Royale Palms. As a Bartender, you would be responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Mix, garnish, and present beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.
• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers.
• Stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
• Cut, store and ensure product quality of all beverage-related perishables.
• Respond professionally to inebriated guests, as needed.

Compensation: $5.25/hour + tips
