Forgotten Coast Hospitality in Northwest Florida is seeking a skilled bartender/mixologist for the Franklin Café in Apalachicola. You’ll craft cocktails, engage guests, and deliver memorable experiences in a lively setting.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, attentive, and precise. You’ll use the Aloha POS, manage opening/closing duties, and collaborate with the team to maintain a high-energy, welcoming bar.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments (freezers, around cooking equipment).
• Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
• Able to read and write handwritten notes.
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and drink orders, and ensure ongoing satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Demonstrate thorough understanding of all menu items, answer questions about preparation and ingredients, and make tailored recommendations.
• Use Aloha (POS system) for order entry, maintain accurate financial transactions, and manage opening/closing duties, bar inventories, and daily requisitions.
• Assist fellow team members, from setting up for parties to maintaining a harmonious and productive environment.
• Maintain a presentable appearance per dress code, ensuring neat, clean, and professional presentation.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, noisy environment and multitask from bussing tables to managing guest needs.
• Listen actively to guests and colleagues with a friendly, craft-focused demeanor.

Maintain a presentable appearance in accordance with dress code requirements and exhibit a neat, clean, and professional appearance.

Thrive in a fast-paced, noisy environment with the ability to multitask, from bussing tables to managing a diverse range of guest needs and preferences.

Engage actively in listening to guests and colleagues, communicate effectively, and always bring a friendly demeanor with a passion for the craft and guest experience.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years or older

Able to work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures, such as freezers and around cooking equipment

Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distracting conditions

Able to read and write handwritten notes

Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds

Able to move around the facility and stand for long periods of time (will be walking or standing 100% of shift) as well as reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently.

Must be able to read and communicate in English

Hourly Wage:

$9.98 + Tips
