Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Barrels Operator to implement site and corporate Food Safety and sanitation initiatives. You will lead Sanitation Associates, review SOPs, and train associates while ensuring safety standards are met across sanitation activities.

Ideal candidates communicate well in English, understand safety and quality systems, interpret production schedules, and collaborate with managers to relay critical information for operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain daily cleanliness and adhere to site GMPs.
• Prioritize daily work by addressing pressing issues and communicating with operators.
• Foster a high-quality team environment through teamwork and self-management.
• Perform sanitation tasks and related activities in assigned areas.
• Follow Master Sanitation Schedule and complete required documentation.
• Support plant to meet or exceed production goals.
• Educate others on sanitation principles and cross-contamination hazards.
• Understand plant process flow, traffic, and color code systems.
