Overview

Barre, Yoga, and Mat Pilates Instructors will deliver the Equinox Experience to members through class instruction and engagement, helping members achieve their fitness goals within a high-performance culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class.
• Adhere to the class description and modify intensity for participants when necessary.
• Continuously monitor exercise intensity throughout the class.
• Ensure classes begin and end on time.
• Teach respective classes regularly and minimize substitutions.
• Communicate with the Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment and operational status, scheduling, and subbing.

Qualifications

• Current certification in the respective discipline (Barre, Yoga, or Mat Pilates).
• Experience teaching; CPR/AED certification required.
• Knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and modifications for all populations.
• Strong willingness to learn and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality.
