Job summary

Pure Barre Columbia/Silver Spring is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a part-time instructor role. You will lead inspiring 50-minute classes for up to 15 clients, creating a welcoming environment that keeps members coming back.

The ideal candidate has a positive, energetic personality, a passion for fitness, and strong communication skills. Training will be provided, with a minimum 18-month teaching commitment after training.

• Background in dance, fitness, Pilates, cheerleading, barre, or group exercise is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach a minimum of 6 classes per week - must having weekday evening and weekend availability
• Deliver safe, energetic, and motivating classes that follow Pure Barre methodology
• Learn and perform quarterly choreography updates
• Prepare thoroughly for each class through practice and class planning
• Build meaningful relationships with members and create an exceptional client experience
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming studio
• Demonstrate exercises, lift light hand weights, perform full-body push-ups, and maintain high energy throughout each 50-minute class
