Job summary

Pure Barre Clarkston is seeking a motivated Fitness Instructor to lead up to 20 participants through the Pure Barre experience. The role requires teaching a minimum of 3 classes per week across various times, with thorough class preparation and choreography updates.

Candidates should be trained in Pure Barre formats, energetic, and customer-service oriented to build relationships with clients and maintain a high-energy studio atmosphere for a 50-minute class.

• Ability to build client relationships through outstanding customer service.

• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Confidence to energetically command a room of 20 people.
• Musicality—ability to keep rhythm and count to beat of music.
• Background in dance, fitness, cheerleading or barre concept (ideal but not required).
• Minimum one-year commitment to teaching required.

Responsibilities

• Lead up to 20 participants through the Pure Barre experience.
• Availablity to teach a minimum of 3 classes per week (morning, midday, evening, weekends, holidays).
• Plan and prepare diligently before each class, including choreography and class planning.
• Learn full choreography changes on a quarterly basis.
• Assist with keeping the studio tidy.
• Lift hand weights, demonstrate full body pushups, and maintain high-energy for 50-minute class.
