Job summary

Reindance in Delano, MN is seeking a Barn Manager to lead a small team and oversee daily operations of a private dressage facility on 160 acres. You will manage care for performance and retired horses, coordinate schedules and ensure high standards of safety and well-being for both horses and staff.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience managing performance horses in private barn setting.
• Leadership experience including hiring, training, scheduling, and accountability.
• Fluency in dressage/eventing terminology and conditioning of upper-level horses.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and develop a team of 5 to 8 staff.
• Hire and manage staff, support ongoing education.
• Oversee daily barn operations: feeding, turnout, stall care, aisle upkeep.
• Manage care of performance and retired horses; coordinate medical and feeding needs.
• Coordinate farrier and veterinary schedules; maintain records.
• Handle inventory management and ordering.
