Position Overview:

In your position as a Barista Team Member, you will be responsible for possessing an in-depth knowledge of all Just Love Coffee & Café – Alpharetta procedures and processes outlined in the Barista Manual and the ability to carry them out with a high degree of efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• A demonstrated history of excellence and expertise in coffee world, barista, drive-thru and/or restaurant.
• Outstanding service skills and a customer-centric mindset.
• A genuine passion for making a difference and effecting positive change.
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in operating espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
• Knowledge of espresso extraction techniques, including shot timing and milk steaming.
• Adherence to strict cleanliness and hygiene standards, including maintaining a clean work area and equipment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide a friendly, welcoming, and personalized experience to customers.
• Consistently complete all assigned tasks for a given shift with excellence, attention to detail and pride in the result of the work.
• You will assigned as a barista team member but must be willing to cross-train as a kitchen team member.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate:

Your pay rate will range between $12.00 to $17.00 per hour through tip pooling for all hourly employees.
