Job summary

Summer Moon Operations LLC in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Barista to deliver an exceptional guest experience on every shift. Reporting to store leadership, you will be responsible for fast, friendly service, accurate order taking, and maintaining a clean, inviting store environment.

The role requires good communication, the ability to handle multiple orders, knowledge of our oak-roasted coffee and Moon Milk, and the stamina to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.
• Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices.
• Ability to walk, bend and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Maintaining food handlers license.

• Maintain a solid knowledge of our menu offering and provide customers with product details, such as coffee blend, flavor profiles, and overall suggestions.
• Learn all Barista positions to ensure proper customer service and prevent backups.
• Field and direct customer complaints.
• Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks work areas, utensils, equipment, service areas and seating areas.
• Checks temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, and heating equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Demonstrates proper attendance, punctuality, customer service, and overall attitude.

The Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience on every shift. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager (AGM) and General Manager (GM) and taking direction from Lead Baristas this role is defined by an absolute focus on the guest—ensuring every interaction is fast, fresh, friendly, and memorable.
