Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes orders; processes cash and credit card transactions.
• Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages according to brand specifications and the customers’ requests.
• Serves prepared foods and pastries.
• Delivers customer service to exceed customers' expectations by responding to their needs with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm during periods of high volume to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
• Maintains appearance of location ensuring product is stocked to appropriate levels and all areas are properly cleaned and sanitized.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
• Communicates effectively with store manager regarding store, employee and customer needs.
• Communicates customer feedback to managers and recommends new menu items.
• Maintains a positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers.
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Must have several years of experience as a barista or in a related position.

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lift, carry, push, pull up to 25 lbs.
