Position Summary:

  • The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers in a hospital kiosk.
  • Will take customers’ orders, make drinks, and provide timely service to customers.

Shift:

Part-time (20 hrs per week)

Rotating Shift

Weekend work required

Location: Howard County Medical Center, 5755 Cedar Lane, Columbia MD 21044

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-2 years’ experience in retail, hospitality, or culinary fields required

Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:

Barista, specialty drink certification, or equivalent preferred

Salary Range: Minimum $16.00/hour - Maximum $25.09/hour. Compensation will be based on experience and role scope. Salary discussions may occur during candidate screening.
