Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking an Outlet Cashier in Nashville to process guest orders and payments, ensuring accurate transactions and a friendly guest experience across our dining outlets.

You will handle POS operations, assist with orders during peak times, maintain clean cashier areas, and support inventory and safety procedures to uphold Sonesta's guest-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Process guest orders, payments, and transactions accurately using POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient guest service during restaurant, café, bar, grab-and-go, and Food & Beverage outlet operations.
• Answer guest questions regarding menu items, pricing, promotions, and outlet offerings.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations, beverage areas, counters, and guest-facing spaces.
• Assist with order coordination, guest requests, and operational support during busy service periods.
• Balance cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and support end-of-shift reconciliation procedures.
• Follow food safety standards, sanitation procedures, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and hotel operational policies.
• Support restocking of supplies, grab-and-go items, utensils, condiments, and operational inventory as needed.
• Partner closely with Culinary, Servers, Bartenders, and Food & Beverage leadership to support smooth daily operations and guest satisfaction.
