Job Summary

We are seeking to hire a Barista who contributes to our success by providing world-class service to our customers. Responsibilities include providing our customers with quality products, efficient service, and maintaining a clean and organized store, all while displaying a courteous service attitude. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills, the ability to perform multiple tasks at any given time, and the desire to embrace the Black Rifle Coffee culture.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain mission focus with an unwavering purpose to succeed in achieving our objectives as a company, a store, and as individuals.
• Provide quality beverages, retail items, and food products, observing all standards pertaining to recipes, product quality, and health and safety.
• Keep a clean, organized workstation according to Black Rifle Coffee Company standards, ensuring all equipment is operational and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Anticipate the needs of customers and the store based on cues and environment.
• Communicate productively with team and management, assist in training new team members, and contribute to a positive store culture.
• Act with radical transparency, integrity, and commitment, promoting the culture and mission of Black Rifle Coffee Company.
• Adhere to operational policies including cash handling, safety, and health regulations.
• Celebrate team and individual achievements to reinforce store morale and culture.
• Maintain a customer-first attitude and a calm demeanor at all times.

Education and Skill Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Previous experience as a Barista or server is desirable.
• Willingness to learn new coffee techniques and equipment.
• Attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to gauge customer preferences.
• Excellent communication skills.

Position Details:

• This is a part-time position, potentially involving long hours including weekends and nights.
• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and reach regularly.
• Ability to work with brewing equipment and devices.

• Light to moderate lifting required.
• Regular attendance is expected, including hours dictated by business needs.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and sit/stand at a terminal for extended periods.
