Job summary

NEXDINE is seeking a Barista in Waltham, MA to greet customers, take orders, manage payments, and prepare a range of beverages. You will maintain a clean coffee kiosk, stock snacks, and assist customers with information under the guidance of the Chef Manager.

The role emphasizes excellent customer service, a friendly demeanor, and dependable teamwork to ensure a smooth checkout experience and high-quality beverages.

Qualifications

• Prior Barista experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Team player with dependable work ethic.
• Previous cash handling experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to include being attentive, approachable, greeting and thanking customers.
• Operation of point of sale system; Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
• Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas.
• Replenish snacks and stock coolers as needed.
• Maintain clean and orderly checkout and coffee kiosk areas and complete other general cleaning duties.
• Assist customers by providing information.
• Work with and take direction from the Chef Manager.
