Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for a part-time BARISTA position.

Job Summary

Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP standards. Interacts with customers and employees in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso orders using standard measures and recipes.
• Enter orders accurately into POS; accept cash and charge payments.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Follow recipes and production standards for food prep.
• Keep display equipment clean and debris-free.
• Greet customers courteously and interact to ensure satisfaction.
• Serve quickly and efficiently, preventing delays.
• Understand and explain menu items accurately.
• Assist in selling techniques and customer decision-making.
• Ensure attractive merchandising of foods.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
