Penn Medicine is seeking a customer-focused Barista to prepare and serve espresso beverages, coffee drinks, and food items while delivering exceptional customer service at our Lancaster location. Ensure high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and efficiency while creating a welcoming experience for customers.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of barista and food/beverage experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare espresso beverages, coffee drinks, and other menu items using standardized recipes.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, supplies, and service areas.
• Restock beverages, condiments, and supplies as needed.
• Follow HACCP food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures.
• Ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Accurately explain menu offerings and assist customers with selections.
• Process transactions through the POS system and handle cash and credit card payments.
• Merchandise and display food items according to established standards.
• Work efficiently to minimize wait times and maintain smooth customer flow.
• Communicate customer concerns to supervisors as appropriate.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Every other weekend
