**Long Description**

**COMPENSATION:** The hourly rate for this position is $1.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.
2. Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs.
3. Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages per brand standards.
4. Prepare and serve food items according to location standards.
5. Count, organize, and balance the cash drawer, fill out cashier slips, and make deposits.
6. Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
7. Set up and break down coffee stations, including cleaning and sanitizing.
8. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
9. Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
10. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Qualifications**

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a barista preferred.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow the required dress code.
• Ability to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or PPE may be required.
