A leading company in the food and beverage sector is seeking a Barista at Magnolia Press in Waco, Texas. The role involves creating a memorable experience for guests through service and quality beverages. Candidates should possess customer service skills and a Food Handler's license, with availability on weekends and holidays.
At Magnolia, the Barista is responsible for creating the Magnolia Press experience for our guests by providing prompt service and quality beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, in line with the Magnolia brand. Baristas may also assist at other Magnolia foods entities as business needs require it. This position works from Magnolia Press in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Store Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities .

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and arms to reach, handle, feel; utilize fine motor dexterity of fingers; talk or hear and taste or smell.The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.The employee is expected to utilize team lifting techniques when lifting bulky items or items weighing above 50 pounds and up to 120 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The employee routinely uses sinks, ovens, and tools to clean kitchen appliances. The employee is frequently exposed to hot water, potentially slippery floors, garbage disposals, and cleaning chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
