Description

The Barista connects with guests by providing friendly, enthusiastic, yet professional and timely service, along with excellent lattes and other creative coffee-inspired drinks.

Responsibilities:

• Providing personalized service to all guests.
• Maintaining cleanliness of all appliances and counter space, including wiping up spills throughout the shift.
• Removing trash and stocking shelves, keeping track of stock levels.
• Meeting and greeting customers, resolving complaints, or directing them to the manager.
• Handling cash, coins, and currencies accurately, and recording transactions on computers.
• Informing customers about payment options: cash, check, credit, and debit cards.
• Counting money proactively before shifts to prevent miscalculations.
• Maintaining records of transactions and basic computer awareness.
• Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and politeness with customers.
• Maintaining a neat appearance and dressing appropriately.
• Being multilingual is preferred to serve diverse customers.
• Exhibiting integrity, honesty, and accountability in all dealings.
• Willingness to work varied hours and weekends.
• Possessing basic reading and writing skills.
