Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Barista Lead to craft quality beverages, train baristas, and maintain a clean, safe coffee bar. You will process transactions, follow recipes, and ensure food safety standards while delivering friendly, efficient service.

The role requires prior barista experience, cash handling, and the ability to supervise others. You’ll read recipes in English, work independently, and conform to dress and PPE guidelines; food handling certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have prior successful barista experience.
• Experience handling cash and POS transactions.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adhere to dress code.
• Able to read and communicate in English and follow recipes.
• Food Handling Certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards
• Prepares and serve food items in line with location standards
• Train and guide staff in coffee and food preparation, customer service, cash handling, and procedures
• May schedule and delegate work assignments to team and coordinate tasks
• Operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit transactions
• Balance cash drawer and deposits
• Adheres to cash handling policies
• Set up and breakdown coffee bar and maintain cleanliness
• Stock beverages, grab-and-go items, service ware and condiments
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
