**Job Description**

The Barista Lead creates a memorable experience for customers by providing timely service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Responsibilities include training Baristas, processing transactions on the register/POS, following recipes to prepare coffees and beverages according to specifications, and maintaining the coffee bar while delivering excellent customer service and adhering to food safety policies.

**Job Responsibilities**

1. Greet and assist customers, anticipating their needs.
2. Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to brand standards.
3. Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards.
4. Train and guide staff in coffee and food preparation, customer service, cash handling, product knowledge, and other procedures.
5. Delegate work assignments and coordinate task completion within the team.
6. Accurately operate the register/POS and handle cash and credit transactions.
7. Count, organize, and balance cash drawer; fill out cashier slips and make deposits.
8. Follow Aramark's cash handling policies and procedures.
9. Set up and break down coffee station, including cleaning and sanitizing.
10. Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.
11. Stock beverage coolers, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
12. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.

**Qualifications**

• Experience as a successful barista required.
• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Basic math and counting skills required.
• Supervisory or related experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must adhere to the required dress code.
• Ability to read, communicate in English, and follow recipes.
• Complete Food Handling Certification as required.

This role may involve physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
