Sodexo is hiring a Barista I at OU HEALTH - UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA MEDICAL CENTER in Oklahoma City. The role requires full-time employment with open availability across shifts and offers a pay range of $15.56 to $16.17 per hour.

The Barista I will provide exceptional customer service, craft beverages, manage cash, and support daily cafe operations in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Customer Service related work experience.
• Must have knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards, and inventory control systems.
• Starbucks Baristas may be required to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests and provides quick, friendly, and personalized service.
• Mixes and serves hot and cold beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, café latte, tea, chai, fruit blend drinks, etc.
• Maintains good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages and food items.
• Educates guests regarding menu offerings and initiates suggestive selling.
• Arranges coffee bar/cart supplies and cups/mugs for attractive displays.
• Cleans coffee machines and preparation areas as needed.
• Records all sales, handles cash, and operates a cash register.
