Job summary

Chip City is hiring in Central Valley, NY. We’re seeking team members who deliver exceptional guest experiences by crafting beverages, handling orders at the POS, and keeping the store welcoming and clean.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a commitment to food safety. Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required. Starting pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead with a customer-obsessed mindset by creating warm, memorable interactions and ensuring every guest feels valued.
• Craft and serve hot and cold beverages — from coffee to specialty drinks — ensuring every order is customized for each guest.
• Process orders and payments quickly and accurately through the POS system, while multitasking and maintaining a welcoming attitude.
• Keep service areas stocked, organized, and ready for action during busy periods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the counter, kitchen, and storefront.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and workspaces to meet health and safety standards.
• Stock and organize supplies and retail products, keeping inventory accurate and fresh.
• Monitor ovens and freezers, and report any issues promptly.
• Communicate openly with managers and teammates to keep the store running smoothly.
