Job summary

Le Méridien Tampa, The Courthouse is hiring a Barista to provide quality coffee and beverage service in accordance with guest service standards. You will handle orders, operate the POS, and maintain clean, well-stocked workstations in a fast-paced hotel setting.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a customer-service mindset; barista experience is a plus. The position may involve varied shifts, including weekends, with benefits available through HHM.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Barista experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take orders, input orders into POS system, collect payment and prepare orders.
• Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
• Complete opening and closing duties including setting up supplies and tools, and cleaning equipment and areas.
• Ensure appliances are turned on/off at the appropriate times.
• Stock and maintain work areas.
• Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day.
• Count bank at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts and secure bank.
• Follow safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
