Job summary

Wyatt’s Coffee in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Barista to join a friendly team. The role focuses on crafting quality coffee, delivering warm hospitality, and assisting with light food preparation in a small café setting.

Part-time position (~25 hours/week) with opening and closing shifts. Starting pay is $13.00/hour plus tips, with raises after 90 days and at 6 months, plus employee discounts and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Dial in espresso and prepare espresso drinks, pour overs, teas, and non-coffee beverages with consistency and care.
• Provide warm, attentive service from taking orders to helping guests find items they’ll enjoy.
• Learn about our coffees and share stories, brewing methods, and menu details.
• Assemble bagels, sandwiches, and yogurt bowls; heat and finish prepared foods per recipes.
• Keep food station stocked, follow food safety and allergen procedures, and communicate prep needs.
• Coordinate food and drink orders with timing, accuracy, and presentation.
