Job summary

Caribou Coffee in Plymouth, MN is hiring a Team Member to deliver friendly, high‑quality guest service and craft beverages to standard recipes. You will work across roles, from barista to greeter, ensuring guests feel welcome and valued.

Responsibilities include taking orders, managing a cash drawer, keeping the cafe clean and stocked, and upholding safety standards while helping teammates. Some experience is not required, and the team emphasizes growth and a positive attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays as the coffeehouse needs.
• Excellent customer service mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivers guest service that builds real connections, active listening, personal attention, and the small moments that make someone's day.
• Hand-crafts beverages and prepares food to standard recipes, customizing to Guest preferences.
• Confidently moves between barista, greeter, and any other role the shift calls for, ready to take on whatever task is needed.
• Takes orders and manages the cash drawer accurately, following cash-handling, safety, and security standards.
• Keeps the coffeehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked, meeting Caribou's operating standards for quality and safety.
• Anticipates what's needed next for a Guest or a teammate and acts on it before being asked.
• Makes recommendations to Guests grounded in real product knowledge, not just a script.
• Shows up for every scheduled shift on time and ready to go, maintaining reliable, consistent attendance.
