Job summary

La La Land Cafe is seeking enthusiastic Team Members to deliver exceptional customer experiences by preparing beverages, supporting food prep, and maintaining a clean, welcoming space. You will greet guests, craft espresso-based drinks, and ensure orders are accurate while upholding health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude, prior barista or customer service experience, knowledge of sanitation, and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or as a barista is preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations is expected.
• Basic math skills for transactions and change.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.
• Food handler certification is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality beverages and maintain cleanliness of the coffee station.
• Greet customers and provide outstanding service.
• Follow company recipes and standards for espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages.
• Process payments via credit card and handle cash securely.
• Restock supplies and assist with food preparation as needed.
• Keep front-of-house and back-of-house areas clean and organized.
• Support team during peak hours and assist with to-go/delivery orders.
