Job summary

Lowes Foods in Chapin is seeking a store associate to deliver friendly guest service, demonstrate products, and maintain clean, well-stocked aisles. You will assist guests with samples and follow merchandising programs while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

The role involves assisting with inventory, stocking, and rotating products, and performing various duties as assigned by management to ensure a positive guest experience.

• Ability to work well with guests and coworkers in a team.
• Capability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Willingness to supervise, train and develop others.
• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate with Store Management and Merchandiser(s).

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive friendly, engaging service and samples.
• Follow merchandising and operational guidelines and inventory levels.
• Prepare, receive, stock, rotate products and serve guests.
• Perform cleaning, sanitation and safety tasks per standards.
• Make PA announcements on schedule.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.
