Position supports the day-to-day operation of Riverside Roasters and upholding brand standards. Responsibilities include greeting customers, preparing hot food, sandwiches, and coffee drinks using various equipment, operating the POS system, cash handling, cleaning, merchandising, restocking, inventory, and food preparation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Scheduling and task coordination for Riverside Roasters
2. Opening and closing shifts
3. Communication with management about shift issues
4. Completing HACCP/Sanitation paperwork
5. Monitoring food temperatures
6. Cleaning duties
7. Maintaining confidentiality
8. Following recipes
9. Running orders and reconciling cash
10. Guiding customers on menu items
11. Recommending drinks and specialties
12. Performing additional duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of restaurant/hospitality experience, preferably as a barista
• ServSafe Certification within 90 days of hire
